Want to See a Before/After Photo?
The most important thing that you could ask for when choosing a microblading in southlake artist is if you can see pictures of their work. I’ve seen too many clients come to me with messed up microblading because they went to someone else without checking the artist’s work FIRST. Anyone can say that they are good at what they do but when it comes down to it, they have no skill.
The art of microblading is tricky and takes time to learn. We, at DFW Microblading, are always growing and learning in this art. The skill we have today will only increase a year from now. All of the artists we have currently have atleast two years under their belt. It is our desire and goal to give beautiful results to EVERY client we meet.
In this blog, I will show you a before and after of this beautiful girl, Vicky. Her brows were a little sparse and light compared to how she likes them to be. Vicky would spend every morning filling them in and just got tired of it. She came to DFW Microblading in Southlake with the desire to upgrade her brow game and save time and, in the long run, money.
This is a very common situation that we see. A client has eyebrow hair, but it is not shapely, or it’s too light, or the tails are too short, etc. The point is; you are unhappy with your eyebrows. That is what makes you a good candidate for microblading. If you don’t like what you see, we can help you get to the point where you wake up every morning and look at yourself in the mirror and love looking at your eyebrows.
Before the Microblading Procedure
This is Vicky with no makeup on her eyebrows. Her desire was for them to be lighter in the front and then get darker towards the tail. In other words, she wanted an ombre brow. She wanted them natural, but to have a more filled-in look. After our consultation, I recommended a combination of microblading and shading. Our location for microblading in Southlake has the tools needing to do both types of semi-permanent makeup.
The Process
After we came to a decision as to what type of brow would look best for her desires, I began the drawing and mapping process. As an artist for microblading in Southlake, I have been trained in many different ways on how to properly measure out the eyebrows to create beautiful symmetry.
I ask Vicky to approve the shape once the outline has been drawn on. It is very important that when drawing the outline, I create boundary marks that show my clients EXACTLY where the microblading will be and what the shape will look like. Once the client is 100% happy with the outline, we begin the procedure.
Microblading in Action
Now, we can finally begin the procedure itself. In the first half, we create the strokes by softly implanting the pigment. Once the pigment has been implanted and the skin’s surface has been scratched, a numbing gel can be applied which penetrates more deeply to allow the rest of the procedure to be almost completely painless.
