Microblading is the Newest Beauty Sensation
The technique has remained popular in both Asia and Europe, but is gradually gaining traction here in the west. The technique involves using a hand tool or a microblading pen. The technician uses the hand tool’s blade, consisting of several needles, to design semi-permanent eyebrows. Unlike the pin used for tattoos, the microblading pins are three times thinner.
In comparison to a permanent eyebrow technique, semi-permanent eyebrow technique involves great care and precision to create individual and crisp hair strokes to mirror natural eyebrow hair. With Microblading taking center stage in the beauty industry, it has allowed people to come out of the woodwork to offer this procedure. However, we strongly advise people to visit only reputable Fort Worth microblading companies because designing the perfect eyebrows requires years of experience.

Mircroblading has given people the confidence to smile when going out.”— Rebecca Shelton
Microblading
Using brow pencils, tattooing, and powders to design amazing eyebrows have become outdated techniques. Taking their place is Microblading, a painless procedure. If performed correctly, it can provide you with your ideal eyebrows. Since eyebrows shape your face and make your eyes pop, it has become essential for people to focus their attention on perfecting the shape of their eyebrows. People who need to reconstruct their lost eyebrows see microblading as a solution.
How it’s Done
To perform the procedure, our Microblading technicians will start by numbing the area using a topical anesthetic. They will use the topical anesthetic throughout the procedure to reduce any discomfort that clients may experience due to high sensitivity to needles or the general fear of needles. Our microblading technicians will use the micro blade to perform the procedure manually. With each clean and crisp hair stroke they make, the pigment will transfer from the handheld tool into the epidermis’s basal layer. This allows the ink to penetrate the skin more closely than a machine. This also prevents the ink from spilling or bleeding below the skin. Some facts about Microblading include:
- Microblading is a manual procedure whereas a conventional semi-permanent tattooing procedure is not.
- Microblading lasts between 12 to 24 months and requires a touch-up after this duration
- People who spend most of time in the sun or in tanning beds should use a sunscreen on a daily basis to maintain and prevent the semi-permanent microblading procedure from fading

Can I Get the Procedure?
Microblading procedure is for every women struggling with faint and thin eyebrows. The procedure is also for women who do not have any eyebrows at all. Thanks to microblading, they can have amazing looking eyebrows, but without the stress of maintaining them. Other names for the procedure include 3D brows or eyebrow embroidery. The procedure creates healthy looking and bolder eyebrows. This method is for anyone who wants to change the appearance of their eyebrows to something they like seeing in the mirror.
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a type of procedure that creates semi-permanent eyebrows. The technician uses a handheld tool with micro blades to create the thin and crisp hair strokes that form the shape of the eyebrows and give them a natural appearance. Clients can tell us their preferences and we will tailor the design based on their requirements. To resemble real hair, we create small hair-like strokes. Next, we use a blended pigmentation along with soft shadows below the eyebrow hair to color in the eyebrows. We select the color by matching it to the client’s hair and skin tone. Once completed, no one can tell the difference if it is a semi-permanent tattoo or your real eyebrows.
Will I Need Touch-ups?
You will require a touch-up after four to six weeks. The number of times you may require touch-ups depends on how well you care for them after the procedure.
Why Do We Use a Blade?
Our blade is a super fine and thin superficial blade. The blade allows us to create a pattern and inject the color below the skin’s surface. Since our experienced microblading professionals perform the procedure by hand, it provides clients with increased comfort. The blade also increases the simplicity of the entire procedure versus a person operating a machine to perform it to give eyebrow tattoos. Since this is a non-invasive procedure, our clients will feel less pain and the post-procedure recovery time is cut in half.
How Fast Will It Heal?
The healing time differs from person to person. Usually, it takes anywhere from seven to ten days to heal. Other factors that can affect healing time include age, daily life routine, and aftercare. Some symptoms you may feel after the procedure include itchiness, minor swelling, and redness. You do not have to stay in-doors after the procedure, but you can return to your normal work and life routine. We will provide you with some aftercare instructions.
Does the Procedure Hurt?
You should only feel mild discomfort and pain during the procedure. Since everyone’s reaction to pain is different, we apply a topical numbing solution to the area before we start the procedure. We want you to feel relaxed and at ease during the procedure.
Before we begin, we will go over the steps used to perform the procedure. We will start by designing a pattern of fine and thin lines that look like your eyebrow hair. At the same time, we will inject pigment or color. Doing so will help you achieve fuller and thicker eyebrows. We also tend to your every need, especially customers who feel uneasy at the idea of using blades. We strive to provide you with a painless and comfortable experience.
How Safe is Microblading?
We use pigments that are tested and determined to be safe to use for a person’s skin and do not cause any unwanted reactions. We use a variety of different pigment colors. We help you select a pigment that suits your current hair color and your skin tone. Unlike a traditional tattoo where the tattoo artist injects the pigment deep into the skin, we inject the pigment into the top layer of the skin. This creates crisp, fine, thin, and realistic hair lines.
How Long Does the Procedure Last?
Since microblading is a semi-permanent procedure, your pattern will fade over time. A person’s skin type also influences the duration of the procedure. Some skin types react to pigments differently than others. Some are able to hold the pigments for longer durations while others cannot. Our experts can work with you to offer you long lasting results. We can evaluate your skin type to determine how often you may need to make an appointment with us for a touch-up. The estimated duration of the procedure is two years.
Why Do I Require a Touch-Up After Four to Six Weeks?
You require a touch-up because your eyebrows will lose around half of the boldness of the pigment during the healing process. For this reason, we offer our clients a complimentary touch-up with their treatment after their healing process. The touch-up adds back the fifty percent of the boldness lost during the healing process to their eyebrows.
Will I be Able to Choose My Technician?
All our technicians have countless hours of experience working in the microblading industry. However, we realize that you may have a favorite or you may have heard of a technician through another one of our clients and may want to use the same one. You are welcome to choose your own technician when you make your appointment with us. Sometimes, during emergencies or other reasons, we may change your technician. However, that happens very rarely and you will most often get the technician you asked for to perform the procedure on you.
What Should I Avoid While My Brows is Healing?
Here is a list of things you should avoid while your microbladed brows are healing:
- Try not to sweat heavily for at least ten days after the procedure because it causes the pigmentation to fade
- Do not participate in sports or any other rigorous physical activity
- Do not go to the swimming pool, sauna, hot tubs, or jacuzzis
- Do not visit the tanning salon or go sun tanning
- You should also try not to sweat or tan for at least ten days, before and after the procedure
- Do not get a laser treatment, chemical treatment, or a facial peel
- Do not apply creams containing Glycolic or Retin-A on your neck or face
- Do not peel, pick, or scratch your eyebrows, as it can cause scarring and remove the pigment
- Do not perform any tasks that have to do with lifting heavy things or cleaning the house, garage, or basement, as the debris in the air can cause an infection
- Do not eat spicy food
- Do not smoke or drink alcohol in excess, as it can delay the time the pigment requires to heal completely
- Do not drive in vehicles with their top down or drive with the car’s roof down (motorcycles, boats, convertibles, bicycles, skateboards, hover boards, and more)
- Refrain from touching your eyebrows when you are washing your face
- Apply post-care cream/gel using a clean finger. If you use a cotton swab, it will absorb all of the product
