Microblading has been growing more and more in popularity within the beauty community. Celebrities are getting it done. Social Media influencers such as Gabbie from “The Gabbie Show” are having the procedure done. It is exciting to watch this amazing and face transforming brow procedure grow so rapidly. Although it is mostly women who get microblading done, we must not forget that men deserve great brows too! Microblading for men is just as beneficial as it is for women, and finally, the men are coming out of hiding and trying it out!
Male clients are not as prone to coming in because of overtweezing their brows and the issue of them not growing back. For most, it’s because of some sort of accident that caused a scar in the brow area and as a result, the hair no longer grows there. Another common reason that a man would want to get their brows done is if they have alopecia. Alopecia is an auto immune disease that causes loss of hair. This loss could be their head hair, brow hair, lashes, or all of the above.
Recently, we have had a couple of male clients come in requesting the procedure to be done. We were so proud of the results that we wanted to share them with you as well as their stories!
This is Jose. About a year ago, he was diagnosed with alopecia and had begun losing the hair in his left brow. Eventually, the majority of it was completely gone.
After months of using brow makeup to compensate for the hair loss, he found out about microblading and was interested in trying it out. We took a lot of time drawing the outline to be sure that we match the right and left brows as exactly as we could. I’m sure by looking at these pictures, you can agree that the results were amazing! Jose was extremely pleased.
This is Jose’s brows after 4 weeks of healing. The touch up was extremely minimal because he retained the pigment so well! He was so pleased with the results and how natural it looked. Microblading for men is becoming more widely accepted and I think it’s awesome. The artist who did his brows specifically is our girl, Angela Teixeira who runs our Dallas location.
This is Alex. Alex had a baseball accident when he was younger, which he got a scar in his brow from. Because of the scar, his hair no longer grew thick on his right brow. To compensate, Alex plucked the left brow thinner so that they would match. His goal with microblading was to get back to the thick brows that he once had.
We played it safe for his first appointment, not going as thick as desired. Sometimes change comes in phases and our artist was understanding of that. Change can be intimidating at first. Alex was very pleased with the results and excited to show all his buds. Ain’t no shame in his brow game!
So for all those men out there nervous about getting this done, let those nerves calm down and give us a call. Microblading for men and women is a great alternative to eyebrow tattooing and allows you to change them up over time. Results typically last around a year before you need a simple touch up.
